Gentlemen, it's been a while since I posted the last knife.

I hope all of you are still alive and kicking.

The rising cost of living takes its toll on the creative and more inspired side of my knifemaking , meaning I had to do very much

the kind of knives I already did so many times, ....in my humble opinion, showing these could border on boring or at least less exciting.

But I really missed this place and for the sake of staying in touch I would like to show some of my latest work in this thread here.

I decided merging some knives together in one thread instead of posting each one in a separate thread.

Like I said, nothing spectacular, just plain tools,

Nonetheless I hope it entertains you and you still can enjoy them.

I give every knife its own reply I feel it gives me better oversight on the whole thread.

Starting with O7 blade, random scrap steel for the bolsters, steel pinned Mammoth bark.

Cheers

Good to see you again, it's been too long since we got a look at your knives.

Is "mammoth bark" the outer layers fossilized mammoth tusk?

Nice knives all round and a good practical size. I like them all.

Frosty The Lucky.

All beautiful examples Daniel, thank you for showing your recent work! I particularly like the puukko from this group of knives.

I like them all. The last one with the copper really appeals to me a little more I guess. Thanks for sharing your fine work.

Lovely work indeed! Both on the knives and the leather.

All beautifully crafted masterpieces that anyone would love and appreciate. Always love seeing your work.

Great work!

Templehound, I have missed seeing your incredible work and was getting concerned about not seeing you post lately, but you definitely made up for having us wait to see your latest works of art. Thanks for posting again.

Your fit and finish really elevate your work - this is on top of the obvious beauty, style and function. Awesome.

Apologies Frosty, I forgot to answer your question.

Yes its the outer layer, the surface of the tusk.Mostly the tooth enamel.

Greetings

No apologies necessary, you're a busy guy. I try to learn terms from different places, languages, cultures, guilds, etc. all have their own way of saying things and I really like to know what folk mean.

Frosty The Lucky.
