Daswulf
"Owner" reminds me of a George Carlin standup that I certainly cannot link to here lol.
Frosty
Oh I understand the reasons behind "Textlish" and am suggesting you revert to that icky old fashioned English even if you have to take a little time to key it. It takes me forever to text a message, my thumbs tend to cover more than one letter. I call people who text me and tell them not to text. After which I ignore any texts from them. I'm on my laptop and wish for my standard keyboard. I used to touch type in excess of 60 wpm. can't on this one. You aren't talking to a small group of friends here, I HOPE you're talking to tens of thousands and would like to have some chance of being understood. The distraction is also counter productive, I don't remember what your original question was. Frosty The Lucky.

Gandalfgreen
Question was answered metal is junk cast iron take for base possibly.
ThomasPowers
"Squirrel" is a statement; "Squirrel?" is a question. Kühn's book, "Geschmiedetes Eisen", includes a forged squirrel IIRC. Don't forget to test the base for excessive radioactivity!
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
We make that statement when getting distracted and to alert Axle he needs to run them off the bird feeders.

Gandalfgreen
Well I got the scrap mainly cast iron but 2 long bolts and 2 pipes see what it ends up as.
JHCC
Bases might come in handy for stock supports or even as a base for your forge.
BIGGUNDOCTOR
You could probably flip those for a decent profit. Folks look for stuff like that for patios or even bars with a rustic theme.

Gandalfgreen
Got this for a total of 5 bucks today was pretty happy. Question should I clean up the blocks or just leave as is?
Daswulf
Wire wheeling them and oiling them couldn't hurt. You planning to use them? Nice score. I'd be ecstatic with that deal.
Gandalfgreen
Yes I do plan on using them so wire wheel and oil sounds like the plan. Yes I was ecstatic when he said 4 dollars for the stand and it adjusts as well as the rollers are bolted on so could change the stand for multipule use. Ir use to make into anvil stand which ever happens first.
