  4. Great work and very nice patterning. The other folks working on this knife will like where you left them. Just a single knife or are there more in this coop effort? Dave
  5. That is an amazing bit of work you have going. I like the looks of the finished head and look forward to seeing more pics. You probably don't feel much like photos at the end of your day but they are much appreciaed! Dave
  6. Tough to change a price once it is given- I would eat the loss and chalk it up as valuable learning. Dave

  9. I have never yet found ANY blacksmithing equipment at a yard/garage sale. And I look at everything every time and I always ask if the have any blacksmith stuff for sale. Maybe it is just the area we live in. Good for you! Dave

  12. Very nice for your first! Dave
  13. Very nice! But you will never get away with dropping a line like "I sure like punching guards and fitting them hot better than drilling and filing." without a lot more info! Give it up, Mommat... Dave
  14. My wife bought a ring at a garage sale for a quarter. While she was paying the lady told her the ring had belonged to her grandmother. Very, very sad. This is a MUCH better story! Dave

Those look mighty usable to me- nice work! Dave
  19. Exceptional work all around! Your communication skills obviously worked very well, too. I am always amazed when all the talk ends up being what everyone had in their own minds. 1st rate work! Dave
  20. You done good! It doesn't need anything else :) Dave
  21. Nice job, TJ! I am gonna try this one :) Dave
  22. Good job, Aaron. It is fairly common for knife makers I know to have a 'waiting area', where things go wrong that you don't know how to fix yet. Later when going through these items things are found that are now fixable. Didn't know that smiths did it too :) Terrific hammer! Dave
  23. I am literally stumped for words... W O W ! Dave
