  2. Ive had a bunch of large anvils and have not had one any softer than any other anvil
  3. Tractor Supply has several thickness of ruber stall mats that they cut to any length you need pretty reasonable too.
  4. I prefer a three sided box for my anvil stands Leaves the back side open to allow you to place your foot under the anvil and is super solid and stable. This one is fabricated from one inch plate - --
  5. Chuck That is a wisk broom Forged the handle down to about 3/8 dia drilled a hole in the broom and glued the wisk broom to it with epoxy
  6. Really nice job on the axe I haven't a clue on the inlay It does seem to me that if its a user the inlay will really have to be secure to withstand the shock of chopping
  7. Great job Beth Actually I prefer the color and texture of Raw steel ( just wire brush and clearcoat ) Black is ok but ithink other colors not only cover up the texture of the piece but cheapen it as well.
  8. Nice Big swelled horn hay budden -- prettiest Usefullness --- big german double horn ( a nice fat one )
  9. Not so heavy but I hauled a Hereford steer home in a chevy chevette once ( two far away to go home and get the truck )
  10. Attaching the card has two purposes On the back side is the price of the item and the front gives them the info to get in touch with me in the future. A simple price tag just doesnt produce the same results
  11. Looks Great Ive always preferred a Cross Pein
  12. I would think that they would be plenty strong.
