The reason Copper is so “Universal” is Copper – “Cu”
is a natural element, a natural metal, and it has a vast amount of special
qualities. It has a very high conductivity; it is malleable, and ductile. Copper
has what is known as microstructure – meaning a metal with Crystalline when in
a solid form. The crystal structure of a solid metal refers to the internal
structure or arrangement of the atoms in an ordered, repeating, three-dimensional
pattern.
It is the Structure of the atoms in copper that
gives it the ability to blend with so many other metals to create copper-alloys
. to put it in a very simple term it is the very small grain structure that
expands and allows the other metal atoms into the copper and blend well with
most all metals .
