I'm new at making knives (started about two weeks ago), and the biggest problem I have run into so far is making an edge. At the moment, I'm using a Makita angle grinder, which works fine except I can't get both sides even to each other; one will be at a steeper angle than the other, they don't meet half-way, etc. So, what's the best way to make an edge? I've thought about bench grinders or belt sanders, but haven't had a chance to try either of the two.
