Hi I bought one about 10 years ago, 2 of the bearings on the tub guide cracked I called them up and they sent replacements right away. I don't use the power pack a real lot but it came in handy fullering some railings in a die on a long heat when I couldn't get to the treadle. I'm very happy with it. John

Hi I've had a Steelmax 14" for about six years am very happy with it I'm on my second blade supposed to get 1200 cuts I didn't count but I have cut a lot of mild steel with it. I have cut 2" square at 45 deg. nice clean cut & accurate. My son has a 14" Dewallt he is happy with as well as an 8" circular saw he uses on for sheet steel.

wana be replied to Trip's topic in Saws, bandsaws, hack saws, etc
Hi I have a Jet band saw which I have cut up to 6" round on works great but what I use most is a Steelmax Cold cut saw no smell like chop saw beautiful clean cut & fast I quite often cut up to 2" square with it. I've had it for 7 or 8 years paid about $550 for it supposed to get about 1200 cuts per blade, I've replaced 2 blades in 8 years @ $90 each. John -

I started with a different problem the constant hum of the blower was annoying, so I mounted it outside the shop in a weather proof cabinet solved the noise problem also always have fresh air to the tuyere & don't have to worry about depleting my shop oxygen & I also think chimney draws better.
