Frosty,

I was sure that they had, just looked them up and found one from 2005 and another from 2007. It will be interesting to see if the fuels used has changed, considering the wildly fluctuating cost variences between(in order of derangement) solid, liquid and gas fuels.

I must say that I am VERY impressed with how far this web site has gone. I remember when it was used mainly as a picture how to reserve for anvilfire. . . more or less, I remember at the time being rather confused as to what affiliation it had to whom or what. Got out of the blacksmithing thang for a few years to concentrate on steam vehicle design(motorcycle, car, boat etc., that's another story all together). To see it thriving as it is now is GREAT!

The confusion come from IForgeIron being willing to support other sites and the blacksmithing community. When other sites have gone off line or had problems, we have offered the IForgeIron site and services for the other sites to use until they recover.

IForgeIron has never been a part of any other site. We are good citizens of the blacksmithing community, and offer to help when we can.

i end up useing a few different fuels .. main use is coke (less smoke) coal charcoal propane, natural gas at the puyallup fair , and ive been looking at the induction forges... the only problem i see with them is they could work you into the ground!! 30 seconds to yellow heat for a 1/2 in bar ! ive even used wood (dosnt really work till its charcoal) when i was running low on coke ...
