Roy Ubu
I wanted to get better at heads. Thought starting with a scull made sense. Add the flesh later. One body part at a time. anvil
i think Wolf Creek Pass has been tamed a bit since C.W. Mcall and his chicken run,,, But it still will take your breath away as you come down from the continental divide. Now Red Mountain pass,,,
TWISTEDWILLOW
Good grief! Ain’t y’all never heard of guard rails!?! Lol, I ain’t never been out there myself but I’ve heard it’s beautiful

George N. M.
Don't need no stinkin' guard rails if the road is straight(ish). This time of the year the real issue on Red Mountain Pass is avalanches. CW McCall did a song about one of the avalanche area, the Riverside Slide. "By hammer and hand all arts do stand." TWISTEDWILLOW
I had to look that one up George, I hadn’t heard that one before, I found the song on YT apparently it’s from an album called wilderness an the album was never transferred to digital for some reason, that’s why I’ve never heard it, I did find used vinyl copies for sale but I ain’t got no record player… thanks for sharing that song with me, I really like his music and I thought I had all his stuff already but I guess I was wrong! now I just gotta find me a record player and figure out how to use it an I’ll be all set! Lol
George N. M.
CW McCall, real name Bill Fries, started out as an advertising man in Omaha who did an advertising campaign for Old Home Bread in the '70s featuring a truck driver named CW McCall and a waitress named Mavis Davis. Once he got famous he moved to Colorado and served as the mayor of the town of Ouray in the '80s and '90s. He's still around at age 93 but not performing. I once heard his voice described "as deep as the Marianas Trench and as menacing as a stolen revolver." "By hammer and hand all arts do stand."
