November 5, 20205 yr You absolutely must. Garlic scape pesto over pasta with some chopped fresh tomatoes is simple and heavenly.
November 5, 20205 yr Remind me come spring please? With my memory spring might as well be . . . uh what were we talking about? Frosty The Lucky.
November 5, 20205 yr If you DM me your email address, I can schedule gmail to send you a reminder around Labor Day.
November 5, 20205 yr remember Frosty is in Alaska, where spring is in early July and fall is the middle of August
November 5, 20205 yr Ahh; I thought it was supposed to be PM. I should have checked for subtle traps and let the dwarf go in first!
November 5, 20205 yr If the flame can travel faster than the dwarf can run, then it's still about outrunning the dragon.
November 5, 20205 yr Hobbits only give you 1d4 head start; dwarves being larger and chewier provide 3D6 head start. Of course this depends on the dragon being hungry, roll 2d20!
November 5, 20205 yr but since dwarves wear more armor, it takes the dragon even longer to chew him up. Enough time to reroll a rogue and hide.
November 6, 20205 yr Author Ooh, shallots! Great idea! Is there any way to change the title of this thread to "Iron Bloom for History Class; Blacksmiths' Favorite Herbs and Aliums"?
November 6, 20205 yr If we retitled every thread that went off track, the table of contents would be rendered meaningless.
November 6, 20205 yr HEY; Luke March in Michigan over in "Problem Solving > Uses for Magnetite" says he has access to 1400 pounds of Magnetite! "So, due to a project at work, we now have about 1400 lbs of magnetite that we don't need; I have access to as much as I want. What are your favorite uses for magnetite?"
November 6, 20205 yr Author I missed the entirety of page 3... Dwarves are very crunchy. Also, was this a hint to me, Thomas? Who do I contact, if so? 15 minutes ago, ThomasPowers said: 1400 lbs of magnetite that we don't need
November 6, 20205 yr Perhaps the person I referenced who has it? "HEY; Luke March in Michigan over in "Problem Solving > Uses for Magnetite" says he has access to 1400 pounds of Magnetite!"
November 6, 20205 yr "Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside," Two polar bears opening an igloo. Tundra Comic strip. Another use for the caption was in one of the Anchorage news papers in the early 80s when a brown bear broke into a cabin and chewed up a cast iron dutch oven for the left overs. Didn't take the lid off, bit through both lid and pot. Frosty The Lucky.
November 7, 20205 yr Author Sorry Thomas, I was a bit slow... I was also slow about realizing that it was in Michigan... so I think I might stick with the scale. Stay safe up there in Alaska, Frosty. Keep your Dutch ovens under lock and key so the bears don't get them.
November 8, 20205 yr Thanks Chris, I haven't lived in a cabin in the bush for some years. Folks in town rarely come home to find their place has been broken into and ransacked by a bear. Lots of: smashed ripped up and chewed garbage cans though, especially on the hillside. Frosty The Lucky.
November 12, 20205 yr Why do you need a 45 gal. drum? Is there a problem with using the more common 55?
November 12, 20205 yr Author I bought the Hookway retort design, and that's just what it said... I don't think it would make that much of a difference I guess.
