I just showed this to my four boys. They are big Hobbit fans and they all said they want one. I think it's a winner.

thanks for all the kind comments. the blade is a simple san mai construction of bell-clapper wrought iron over 1095 core.

I thought it looked like wrought iron and thought it was a good choice for that piece, good early look to it---combined with high dwarvish bling!
