Lou L Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Les Stroud cooked and ate one on a desert episode of his Survivorman show. He said it was the most vile thing he had ever eaten...and that says a lot coming from him. If I remember correctly it wasn't near his first time eating it, he was prepared and still revolted. Quote
JHCC Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 The last time I hosted a barbecue, I asked if anyone wanted to try bugs. I got crickets. Quote
Charles R. Stevens Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 More like one of the two products chickens make, hint it isn't eggs. Being an American the idea of eating the creepy crawlies is revolting, but I was given the "opportunity" to sample them. Some were not horrible, and I imagine I could with some grace eat them at the table of some of our brothers and sisters from around the world, but I won't be adding them to my regular diet anytime soon Quote

JHCC Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 I'm trying to think of a sufficiently stinging barb. Quote

Origins of Iron Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 I love the migration from materials to scavenge for tools, to deep fired Acrididae snacks. Classic! and yes, fried grasshoppers are rather tasty. Had them in South Africa a few years back. Quote
