Yesteryearforge, I really like your work. The copper is very attractive. I have made one of the Trillium candle holder and like that design very much. Thanks. If you look at the candle holders, the stands have three legs. This tripod type design ensures no wobble and is very stable. You will know if the stand you made is not suitable for a candle. Nice stuff! YYF that horseshoe one is pretty darn nice! I have an old horseshoe that I might try this with. Any tips?

January 19, 201610 yr A rather large candle holder About 24 inches tall with a 5 inch diameter round candle. Adjustable ( can be slid up or down to adjust the height )
January 20, 201610 yr WOW! I love the horseshoe one Yesteryear! Is it all one piece, or did you add a piece of sheet for the candle cup? I might like to make a few of those for my horsey friends! I really like the kind of crazy vine-like gnarliness!!!
January 20, 201610 yr Thanks Bigfootnampa The candle cup is a separate piece On 1/20/2016 at 8:40 PM, Forging Carver said: Why do you have to be so good!!! Great work! I am pretty far from being good More like approaching average I'd say

The end is forged square A square hole is punched in the candle cup slightly smaller than the square on the stem ( I used the square tang on a rat tail file as the punch ) Then the candle cup is heated up and shrunk onto the stem

January 22, 201610 yr I sure like the Advent wreath with the guilded finish and had saved the image the first time you posted it. I has planned on making one from myself before this past Advent season but sadly did not get it done. It will get done before the next one though.
January 29, 201610 yr Here are a couple I did using shed deer antlers. My wife did not like the drips on the table so both now have cups. Both are from atypical antlers which adds to the interest.
January 29, 201610 yr I actually drilled and threaded the cups and then ran a small bolt up from the bottom. A nut on the inside of the cup would have been easier.......
February 1, 201610 yr Here is one I did yesterday. I had the glass laying around so gear it around that. For scale the overall is about 7-8" tall. No idea why the pics are sideways.
February 1, 201610 yr Nice one. I have some glass parts that have been laying around waiting for me to make them functional again.
February 15, 201610 yr Here is my candle holder. In this picture it is not finished needs paint still. The twist is 4pcs of 1/2angle iron and 4 pcs of textured 5/16 bar welded at the ends and twisted.
