December 5, 201213 yr Once again a very nice piece of work Mike. Small wonder I'm getting to expect nothing less. Frosty The Lucky.
December 7, 201213 yr LOL... Seeing this and other items on here... my wife is getting a little more excited about me getting my forge closer to operating. We both love the piece, and it has inspired an idea for a set I hope to some day be able to produce. I believe she expects me to pick this up as fast as I have some other hobbies... keep me in your prayers.
December 7, 201213 yr That is a very nice piece of forging. What would you charge for it at the crafts show?
December 7, 201213 yr Author I have not sold at craft shows very often ( too lazy to do the set up and tear down ) This Fork is larger than it appears in the photo ( its about 23 inches long ) The price that I have on it is 60.00 But I still have it too. :) . so that says something I guess.
December 7, 201213 yr My experience has been that a smith has as much time in a well made flesh fork as he/she does in a well made fire poker. Yet it seems to be difficult to get the price needed for the fork, simply because of its size.
December 7, 201213 yr That is some mighty fine forging you done made there, I like that a lot, you done good. Now make a hundred of them and you're in the flesh hook business.
