  2. thought i saw this before but cant find it now is a 6in pipe niple 6 with or without the threads i cut a old 8 inch tube to 6 1/4 with threads bit it doesnt want to tun well even after trimming the mig tip in half and had a green/ turquise coloured flame surrounded by orange is this too lean or to rich? thanks M.J.Lampert GH012033.MP4

  4. wasn't in the shop but started building a chicken shed with my father today goth the base in place stopped now winds blowing to hard to move plywood and such maybe tomorrow??? chicks come on the 8th of April
  5. ok so i got the parts for my frosty T-burner yesterday as well as a piece of rosewood that should give me 4 handles great day with my father getting supplies for a chicken shed also recertified a 30 and 100lb propane tank M.J.Lampert TWISTEDWILLOW is the first one a train whistle?
  6. ok so i just checked and as i plan to build of an existing setup the tubes in are 3/8 should i reduce this or will it still work. also could this be why my forge needs 15-20 psi. for a good flame? thanks M.J.Lampert
  7. frosty thank you for the boat load of info I am going to pick up parts tomorrow replacing one burner for now on my 2 burner forge (the other still works). from there I plan to then do the other one later M.J.Lampert
  8. i wipe my snowboard glasses with a thin coat of vinigar that usually last 3-10 full day trips and then i repeat it M.J.Lampert
  9. so I've got to the point where I want to start making my investments start paying of so i am making these fire pokers to sell the material costs me 3.60 and i take 1/2 hour with propane to make them they are about 29 in I was thinking of charging 25$ as on amazon similar size is going for 30-50 $ would this be a good price or should i go cheaper thanks M.J.Lampert and yes frosty I need to learn how to make shovels and brooms as well
  10. red shed: I would tilt the blade 10-20* left or right depending on you plow area as this will lower resistance and push the snow to the side instead of straight forwards also as you sound fairly decent in mechanics try to make a quick connect it might make it easier to store then it helps to be the son of a heavy duty mechanic and help him jerry-rig grader blades for backhoes M.J.Lampert

My mother got this knife from a friend recently and is wondering what it is for a design. i looked around online a bit and couldn't find any thing so I thought there must be someone here who knows the closest thing I could find in shape was the Egyptian Khopesh sword and that isn't very close the only marking is a stamped 'TAIWAN' at base 13" overall 9" blade thanks in advance M.J.Lampert
  19. ok we where completely out in the wood shed with only about 2-3 weeks in basements are you using a wood cookstove?

ThomasP i have fire wood to do as well my family gets our 8x20ft flat deck with 4ft plywood sides loaded with 16in chunks with a processor in under 1 hour then we bring it home and take 5-10 hours unloading it depending on who all helps how many large trees went in etc. we are currently around 1/3 done this trailer and it will last the rest of this winter and some of next
  21. so "goodwill' is that thrift store? i need to get out and grab some thing to hit on (anvil replacement) but cant seem to find time
