I grew up in the city and worked for ATT there until 91 the moved to Georgia cost too much to move back ...still have a lot of friends there. the wind never was a problem except trying to fly fish!

it a nice stand ...I saw one similar where the smith added 3 inch pins perpendicular to the round band to hold his spring swedges...doubles your storage space

I've got a modified drill press clamp like a vise grip that screws on the drill press table ...I cut the bolt and welded a piece in to lengthen it so I can use it in the pricthel hole

thanks for the tip on the suspension shops...I doubt that there are any out here in the boondocks but there might be in some of the larger towns around me .

thanks Brian, I really liked the DVD been out all morning making a drift ...the only thing I have thats 1 1/4 is torsion bar boy is it tough especally with a hand hammer

Brian is the handled slitter in thiese pictures the one uou use to slit the hammer eyes? if so does it have the point on the end ...in the DVD you just tap it to mark the hot iron it appears to be flat ...I'm not sure how to make it! the pictures did not come withe the quote

Dodge the one in yellow is a bottom fuller 1 1/2R the fuller on the right makes a set ...I'm not sure what the ones in blue are. Brian will have to tell us

thoes pictures look the same as the article in the current Hammers blow! my question now is that long drift what did you start with what are its sizes? also your fuller what is it about 1 1/4 or so ?
