  2. You did tell us anything, what cement? how was it mixed, and applied....
  3. We are always placing a hot section of steel on a colder one lol
  4. Ive always wondered if its a myth of anvil being too cold in winter. in winter at say at 20F its only 50 degrees colder than average room temp of 70F, what is 50 degrees difference to a 2000F section of steel ?
  5. Or just buy mine... its in tail gate section <cheap plug, i know>
  6. click on the name, find the message tab, send her a PM and hope
  7. I got to put away the walker and i can walk for short distances before foot hurts, It is nice to not be crippled, no matter how short of a time it was. Wife decided to walk away from her job and retire last Monday. Wife then got called by her regional VP the day after she resigned, and he wanted to know why an office that was employee stable for almost 30 years, loses 3 people in a few months all blaming the new boss. They talked for almost 45 minutes, then we hear he showed up for inspection and interviews of the remaining people before talking to the boss. Also we decided to file a complaint with state dept of labor about the write up and her boss screaming at people about needing to fire other people., even tho her VP said it was wrong of them to write her up for taking medical leave, and he will talk to them about it
  8. being in a place that has some colder winters, i use RV animal safe water line antifreeze in the colder months so it doesnt freeze solid when i need it to remain liquid, just a thought, plain water in summer
  9. Still not allowed to actually walk, but can get around with a walker now, and can stand up aided, and didnt need help getting up the steps in front of the house after PT today
  10. Well I'm retired, had the surgery, got the T shirt. I am still not able to walk, but next week i start Physical Therapy and will be able to put 50% weight on the leg. Wife took off 2 weeks to baby sit me, under US Family Medical leave act. Then after she went back to work this week, they gave her a write-up for her missing 2 weeks of work, said her time away was not approved, so after 33 years there she now has a major violation for missing work, and if she gets another write up she will be fired. lovely huh? it's a good thing I'm crippled still or i would have gotten a felony after finding that out, i dont have lots of patience for stupidity
  11. welcome back we missed you

  14. One thing we dont talk about publically here is the staff assignments. but I am going to anyway. Glenn and I both tried hard to get Jerry to be a Moderator here, He refused, but still did the work of helping anytime he saw a need, just didn't want the title or the commitment, yet he did most of the job anyway, No one asked him to create the burner of his, but as we all know he put a lot into that and shared it freely. He spent a lot of his time when he wasnt with this dogs, helping the membership here, He will be missed
  15. I have been notified this morning that Jerry Frost aka Frosty passed on yesterday, That is all I know for now
