He was also at Oki, Nam, etc as well as Pendleton waaay back too Ever heard or Pickle Meadows, Cold Weather Training Center in Ca? Yeah I'm sure Pickle Meadows isn't the correct name anymore. Mostly a memory for the old timers;) But Bridgeport sounds familiar. I was just a kid when Dad was their (1950s - 1960ish) and when he went to a reunion a year or so before he died 2005(?) he said the real camp is on the "other side of the road" now. I remember you Tom. Been along time since I heard from anybody. Though I have seen Alex Gustafson. Do you remember him? Went by the name Gus. A truck driver. I finaly got to meet up with Dave this week, He found me thru this forum, Its the first time we seen each other since back in 83 in Germany.. My buddy and I did put together a forge and foundry between deployments in Norfolk, VA. Disregarding all but the most basic safety considerations. Once we were worried if we could actually cool off the foundry before we had to get back to the ship and get underway.
