Thanksgiving 2022

Featured Replies

I’m thinking I’m gonna do some wreath hangers for thanksgiving that way they can carry over to Christmas

Wreath hangers are a great idea. Versatile and great for many seasons.

Had to make a custom but quick and ugly turkey fryer hook last year. Our tom was too big for the one that came with the kit and I needed it asap that day.

This is not quite Thanksgiving but i made my yearly fork today. I make a new serving fork every year for the next 5 upcoming holidays. All Saints will be the day after Halloween and we will use it for dinner that day followed by Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and finally Easter. I been wanting to get a nice piece of wood to hang in the kitchen and every year hang the fork on.

Great job Billy! I like your idea of making one each year, How about a picture showing the different ones?

Les, i will have to ask the wife where she has put them.

TW, 3/4" x 1/8" x ~14"  flat bar.

This is actually the 2nd one i made. The first i narrowed the stock down to less than 1/16" when drawing it out and it was just way to flimsy.

Nice serving fork Billy. I love the idea of making one each year. Would be fun to see the varieties and (in my case) progression!
