ok---maybe not---but darn handy !-----Over the years I have ended up with a number of pieces of RRR---a local shop gave me the "good guy discount" to mill the top flat. The smarter half uses it for jewelry and I have used it for dozens of "non-smith" chores. Downside for me---the 3rd generation family machine shop that milled it just closed their doors.

Nice bench anvil. You know that studies show that if you wed a woman smarter than you, you may live longer ;-)

Also helps if she is younger than you, I lucked out on both points.

Wasnt thinking-----when I had the rail head top milled-----should have also milled the bottom of the head as well----would have been nice for clamping.
