It would make a great memorial for a loved dog that has died; just add a brass plaque to the collar engraved with the dog's name...

That's what I was thinking of for a dog tag but forgot to say it. I think I lost the idea in the many ideas the piece inspired in my. It's a wonderful piece, I have a friend who lost two of their dogs to old age recently. A pair of these is on my next to do.
