keykeeper
Here's another junk bird, I call it the "Kicken Chicken". And another view.... I made this with some welding help at an ABA Hammer-In last fall. It was for my wife. She did the paint scheme. -aaron

Makoz
Here's another junk bird I found some time back, hanging out in a box of scraps in the shed... you know, stuff that I find hard to toss away. Not much in way of blacksmithing, just some bending, bolting and the odd spot of MIG weld...so forgive me! Happy Easter.

pete46
what IS IT ?????????? ENQUIRE'N MINDS ARE ENQUIRE'N!
JerryCarroll
It's a growth that was on an oak tree next to where a limb has been broken off--it's woody but was probably caused by a fungus. It looks like a snail so I dressed it up a little more with the eyes on stems (pop rivet nails)--smoothing and linseed oiling the surface and giving it a smiley mouth. The figured grain is really nice.
John B
A blast from the past, maybe a couple of hundred years old, the portable one with handles came from an old English Castles garrison smithy
