Rabidrat1
Little something I forged up for my wife. Cheers
Culver Creek Hunt Club
Looks very nice, I like it. what did you do to attach the steel to the wood? Did you make nails?
SpankySmith
Oh, I like the cross pieces at the top for stacking stuff on, gonna absolutely "pay homage" to that idea (ie: steal it). Nice! Is it my imagination or is that wood shaped like a Coca Cola bottle? Or maybe I'm just thirsty, seein' things...
colin455
I like it. Love the shelf/rack on top.Would a solid dark stain give it an "Old English " look? Like the rough as grown edges of the wood.

Frosty
SWEET piece! I can see any number of different little "things" to customize it but the product is a beautiful core. Thanks for the look.Frosty The Lucky.

beammeupscotty
On a thread like this I expect to see a coat rack made from railroad spikes or simple hooks screwed to a backer so I was pleasantly surprised to find the post to be about something this artful. The elements are fairly simple in form but you have gone that one step further by, for instance, splitting the bottom of those hooks. The only bit of criticism I can offer is that from the photo the support bracket scroll on the right does not seem to match the scroll on the left. I still like this design very much. Rabidrat1
Thanks all. Was a quick and nasty to get SWMBO off my back So didn't spend as much time as I should have on the finer details. And yes, the one scroll is more closed and lower than the other. Completely forgot to fix it. But she's happy.
MRobb
Very nice! I like the contrast between the wood and iron.
ausfire
Nice idea to have the rack on top. SWMBO would be impressed.
Old South Creations
Im not a fan of burned wood (just my opinion) but the iron work looks great! Lucky wife!
