March 10, 20215 yr DANG, I was going to suggest you guys video it so we'd have something to believe. I suppose Jello or bentonite mud is out of the question then. <sigh> Frosty The Lucky.
March 10, 20215 yr I tried to add on in an edit but the window closed... I put on a few pounds this winter so I might look a little funny with jello or mud. My wresteling singlet seems to have shrunk in direct proportion to my weight gain!
March 10, 20215 yr Bentonite goes a long way . . . around. I have a largo perro mask, is that close enough? Frosty The Lucky.
March 10, 20215 yr Bentonite has many uses. Dad used it to line a big fish pond he once dug. Big fish pond... Almost a lake. It held the water in instead of seeping out. It came from CNW train wreck that was carrying it. The wreck site is where I found a lot of my parts for my sculptures.
March 12, 20215 yr So you aren't ruling Jello or bentonite out for a lathe winning wrastling match? Frosty The Lucky.
March 12, 20215 yr 1 hour ago, Frosty said: So you aren't ruling Jello or bentonite out for a lathe winning wrastling match? Frosty The Lucky. If you want to roll around in jello or mud, or wear a singlet or whatever, no judgment. While you and Nodebt are doing your thing, I will glide away with that South Bend. It's a win-win for us. Not so much for mountmyfish.
March 12, 20215 yr I'm just the videographer, Scott said so. I'm looking to drum up some sponsors, say Cool Whip and Jello. Any ideas? What kinds of kicks are you planning? A little advance notice will let me get the best camera angles. Twirls maybe? Twirls would be good. Some good Judo throws would be cinematic artistry and really bring in the viewers. I just realized you've roped me into being the producer and publicist! Speaking of roping. How about ropes? A high kicking, rope twirling, contestant will make Iforge cinematic HISTORY! Scott: What do you have planned? . . . Scott? . . . CQ, CQ, come in Scott. Do you copy? Frosty The Lucky.
March 12, 20215 yr Copy that.... How about Bill Cosby for the narrator/voice over? Or maybe Andrés Cantor? Does it come with a turret style tailstock chuck? Consolation prize in case I don't win? I want something out of it! I may perform a Flying Walenda Double Suplex or two just for show!
March 12, 20215 yr I guess I meant "announcer" not narrator/voice over. Howard Cosell could have done such a match justice...
March 13, 20215 yr Hmm, Bill's kind of controversial and George Carlin is dead. Howard and George are swapping stories on the other side. I think Andre's has him beat hands down though, who on Earth wouldn't recognize, Gooooooooooooooooool!!! Iforge is a world wide Forum makes him a near perfect choice. Flying Walenda moves, eh? Trapeze bars, maybe a ring? Spring board, tight wire, slack, net? Torquemada!? This is supposed to be a friendly match for a sweet little lathe, Thomas, that'd be a bit intense don't you think? I think having stocks in the ring might run afowl of the site TOS. I figure a good coat of jello or drill mud would pass the pic / video rules. I can see I'm going to need plenty of clear filters or I'll never keep the camera lenses clean. Frosty The Lucky.
March 13, 20215 yr I think a dungeon/chamber setting would be great optics and atmosphere. Peter Lorre for announcer, now.
March 13, 20215 yr If you go for a dungeon you should have gotten Vincent Price, better bust out a shovel and start digging Maybe the Undertaker could announce the fight?
March 13, 20215 yr When I saw "Master of the World" I lost all respect for Vincent Price! I'm sure Jules Verne turned over as well.
March 13, 20215 yr was it as bad as "Journey to the Center of the Earth"? And lets be honest, the man never had any really good movies. But a nice voice he did have.
March 13, 20215 yr You made me laugh! Thank you.... On a more sinister note though, that's why I mentioned Peter Lorre. His creepy voice...
March 13, 20215 yr My wife is a huge Vincent Price fan (she even has the cook books) and even she thinks most of his movies are pretty bad, but still fun to watch.
March 13, 20215 yr I will do a search on the cookbooks, never knew anything about them. "The Tingler" was a fun one. It's all corny, but fun....
March 14, 20215 yr My, you and Ohio are really taking this into undiscovered country . . . cooking? Frosty The Lucky.
