Sam Salvati Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I work at a shop where people do not respect tools and abuse them or do stupid things to them, so I had to make an anvil protector. Also it will serve well if I bring my anvil to a hammer in. Chains through the Hardy and Pritchel holes with padlocks on each. Quote
Sask Mark Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Very cool. Sam, you always manage to add a cool flair element to functional items. Quote
Chuck in Ms Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Very cool, that will keep the cold drinks off the face. I hate that! Quote
Ten Hammers Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Awful far north for swamp people but hey, it's all good Sam. Quote

VaughnT Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Impressive, to say the least! Too bad that folks don't respect someone else's tools... Quote
tantofolder Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I love it!!.....and if the chains/padlocks weren't enough, the spikes say:"back off". Quote
Charles R. Stevens Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Saves one from taking a rounding hammer to the offenders (and the resulting legal hassle) Quote
Jim Coke Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Neet.... If they mate do you get an alleganvil ? Remember to take it off or you will texture EVERYTHING Quote
Backwoods Blacksmith Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 That ought to keep them from sitting on it too. Quote
John McPherson Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Consider this idea stolen! That shows a lot of design flair. Quote
Sam Salvati Posted March 3, 2013 Author Posted March 3, 2013 Feel free to make them, only caveat I have is you have to post pictures when you do hehe. Quote
matthew stagmer Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I would just like to say that seeing this every morning still makes me laugh a little. Super cool idea! Quote
ThomasPowers Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Model T spark coil attached to an anvil on a dry wooden stump would probably do the trick too... Quote
philip in china Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 It makes my protectors look very prosaic! Quote
