iron woodrow
how is the tang done? did you forge it into a point and force it into the wood? or is the handle two halves seamlessly glued?
2Tim215
Looks like a hidden tang to me. Nice damascus and very nice knife overall. How many layers?
Loneforge
56 layer twist with a hidden tang. I notch the tang so the the epoxy grabs. I leave the tang fairly staight at the end woody. I drill with small bits then go larger till the holes join up. Put a slice of sand paper over the end of a file and clean up till it slides on easy then epoxy it all together and clamp. Thanks for the compliments guys it truly inspires! :)

Dick L.
Great job on the entire piece ! Fit ,finish and design are all top notch. Did you hammer the welds or use hydraulic press? I've only done cable with a hammer so far with decent results but I have seen billets forged with hydraulic press in person and it just looks so easy. Back to the point of the post Great Job !! Thanks for sharing, Dick
