March 28, 201214 yr i really like the idea of radial hammers, either they weren't viable economically, or they didnt work to well........ I dont know. But i found an image of a radial steam hammer. Ill post it when i get home

January 9, 201610 yr The entire head mechanism rotates around to different forging stations, such as the swage block to the right in the photo above.
