    Thank you. I like the eye too. Think I may try to lift the ear a bit more aswell and maybe flare the nostril a bit next time

    I like this one a bit better. Played with the mane a bit as I would like my horse heads to be more unique. May try my feather texture next on the mane. I am happy with the muzzle i need to make myself self a better horn. The bick I did just isn’t cutting it

    I forged the taper then punched the pupil hot then filed to shape. Also did another eye punch I haven’t got to test yet. Thank you cgl. I must have watched brain’s video 10 times at half speed before I started this one im not quite happy with the muzzle but I think I know what I need to do differently next go

    Started on plant hangers yesterday. Guess I’m ready for spring. Also did one like my leaf coat hooks but it’s hanging in the well house for painting. Textured with my new tools. May have todo some branch plant hangers

    I walked before I crawled what can I say. Im in NE Washington at 2200’. It is beautiful here. And thank you. Was 19 that morning and we had 15 min of sunshine just at dawn. Every thing was pink but it changed so fast I barely got a pic in time.

    Thank you cgl. I’m having a blast. The new stand is so nice to work on! Idk why I put up with the short log for so long! Now if the power would just come back on I could dress this hammer and give it a good test

    Not bad for my first attempt. Need to remember not to touch the cheeks till I’m done drifting. Drift held up well though the tip will need dressed This S7 is tough stuff! Have about 42” left of this 1 3/8” round

    Also did a texturing die and hammer today. I’m thinking the hammer needs a bit more texture

    Finished up my round punch drift combo. 1” round 4140ish (tie rod) hopefully do a hammer with it tomorrow

    For the pipe thread non flare type you want thread tape rated for gas. Mine is yellow. Do not use standard thread tape

    Been working on hammers this week and was really getting sick of my striking anvil being too short. So a made a new stand for it. It’s louder and I’ll probably fill the legs with sand and oil and cap them off. It’s perfect hight now! Tested with a 2x4 and 4x4. Still have to add a few touches like a swinging tool tray and such.
