  3. A few years ago, I was welding the drum on a cement truck at work, from the inside:(. The sleeve of my coveralls caught fire (fire resistant my ***) and I didn't notice for a bit I guess. The flame spread almost to my shoulder before I realised and put it out, it was not cool!! Plus other small leg fires and such over time, but nothing major. Adam

  5. I only wear a glove on my holding hand when smithing. I find I loose some hammer control if I use one on my hammer hand. Now if only I could find someone selling bags of left handed gloves:rolleyes: Adam

  7. I use the Royal Oak when I do use charcoal. I agree with the price, get mine from Walmart too, but at the end of season, its like $3. It works out cheaper even at $5 a bag cause I too have to ship in coal. Adam

  15. Hi guys, looking for some help. I was just asked me about making some anitques type corn dryers for someone. :confused:I'm not sure how to go about it. I'm thinking just some flat bar slit then forged out into the spikes. Could someone please give me some advice? Pictures attached. I'm sure it's simple, but I want to have an idea first. Thanks in advance.

I know everytime I burn coal outside, I put something up to keep the smoke and flames from getting blown around too much, namely in my face. Anyway, looks good and I bet you can't wait to get to demo from it now:) Adam
