  13. My gas forge is a two-burner forge, and set at 18# it uses a 20 lb tank of gas in about 3 hours!! 18# is the pressure that I use for welding up damascus/Selden
  14. I found a leaf spring or a piece of Coil spring easier to work on than an old file!! Specially with just a fire! A small propane forge is not to hard to make, and will work good for small knife blades. I've made about 30 knives, but do not feel like I am ready for a sword yet/Selden
  15. I have an echeapo horizontal from harbour freight, that cost me 50.00 it uses a 59" blade and have had no problems with it, been using it for 4 years, and it was 4 years old when I got it! it will cut a 4"x6" piece of steel, just not really fast!! And I use it more for a cut off saw than anything else/Selden
  16. a three pound Straight peen that I traded a Squirrel roaster for is about the most comfortable one I have
  17. My stroll is about 5 minutes long, and if I look to my right as I'm walking there, I see most of the 20 acres that is cleared for growing(which we r going to plant about 8 acres of this spring) Straight ahead is the neighbors cow barn, and occasionally a few of his cows, when I look to the left, trees, lots of em!!! Out the front of the shop, I look down the 4 acres that heads down to where the mail box is! Next spring, that area will hold green houses and the orchard/Selden

A 14" Monkey Wrench to turn into a twisting wrench!!! and just for $10, and they have a 16 or 18" one for just $15 , so guess the first of next week, am going to have to go get it!!! Bigger allows me to twist bigger metal RIgHT????
