hi steve - i just got given a number 6 by a very kind man and i moved it with no probs in the back of the landrover stand and all. :)
  11. i agree - artists do not need words so much as other people! your work looks lovely Giancarlo - i particularly love this bird because i have it tattooed on my wrist almost the same - the bird is a symbol of freedom and looks fantastic the way youve made it. ps your english is great!:)

  17. prayers from me too chyan - will be rooting for your friend - beth
  18. chyan very wise words - something that alleviates the pain shouldnt be used so that you can carry on abusing the injury without feeling it either. Like you say a stop gap in order to REST the injury and hopeful aid its healing.
  19. me neither but if i was (in that ideal world) i would be making up some banister brackets with leaves for a customer who would have liked them last week:)
  20. its called a Band - It tennis elbow strap - a few of my friends at kung fu use them for elbow injuries and another friend of mine bought this strap to try for tennis elbow she'd been really suffering from. she is SOOOO pleased with this strap - has tried lots of others and says this one is worth every penny. just thought id pass that on - i dont have bad elbows but heard lots of you saying about painful elbows and tendonitis rsi etc - its sometimes nice to hear a recommendation before shelling out eh?:)
  21. oh dear - how annoying - hope they get it straightened out for you soon....:(
  22. looks like you made something good there to me! if it heats the metal right i would say the only things to think about is safety and efficiency - i cant say about that but plenty on here would have some ideas - good luck - hope the forge works for what you want to do and gets you more into blacksmithing:)
