  10. Having your vise in the corner could become a problem when working odd shapes[scrolls]you will find you self snookerd,maybe a vise on a heavy stand that you could move around.Well the best of luck on your layout.

  14. just a note of safety,if it were me i would go to a wire rope store and purchase the blocks and riggin with the proper safe working load for the task in hand,blocks don,t break they explod,heavy things drop,bights of line whip not pretty,anyway be safe and the best of luck.

Thanks for the come back Frosty,i have several feet off copper grounding wire which i been adding to projects stand by strand.So today im going to try forge welding copper,thanks again and those pics of you and your buds unloading your hammer are great,thats how things are done around her tractors,come longs and friends,....Best of luck.....over and out

All is well in my shop and my new power hammer which i have had for many months now has been trouble free.The hammer is used daily and on sundays I have a get together with other smiths in the area[tool making day]and on that day the hammer doesnt shut down for hours,any way lunch is over time to get back to work and ounce again thank you to those member of i forge iron for the feed back that helped make the installation a success........Chow for now
