Thank-you for posting those pictures! Here's my picture, showing the similarity of anvils made by Renato Muskovic in Surrey, BC, Canada. Your post taught me something, and gave me an excuse to showcase a source of new big anvils. (yay Renato). Y

Reminds me of the joke; when I heard you'd broken your leg in 2 places, I thought you should stop going to those places. A little better joke is; daughter says to mom, my fiance only has one foot. mom says, don't worry, your father only has 3 inches. Speedy healing, and use the pain killers.

Thank-you for posting TheoRockNazz, sincerely. I once had a 3D print made of a small cartoonish moose head, but only out of plastic, because it was too big for their metal printer. The plastic version disappointed me, because the fairly smooth curves that were in my 3D mesh, got resolution-reduced by the printer, and ended up looking very blocky, Your result looks awesome, which encourages me to not give up. And as Frosty suggests, if they could print in a material that would vaporize like wax does, then maybe people wouldn't even need to make an investment wax model first. I've only spoken to a few foundries, who didn't know anything about 3D printing.

I've had very little success googling for "real" picture frames made of metal, but you might get some ideas from this collection of "video game" window frames, which often try to have an artistic metal look.

I'm a beginner hobby blacksmith, and several times I've forgotten the word "upsetting" or "upset" when I want to make a thicker bulge. Can someone who knows, explain the origin of that word, so it 'makes sense' somehow? Or, tell a cute made-up story that explains it.
