well frosty your right.... the concrete idea is a bad one i will make a cone with some round rod and strengthen it with some smaller rod and then mig some sheet on... i have a 3 or 4 foot long piece of 1 inch round and a 10 foot long piece of 1 inch square witch is better? thanks jimbob il follow that. Glenn. i would like it to be 3 feet tall and about a foot wide at the bottom i would like the end to go into a point... the point will need to be strengthend and primtech its ok i am mostly looking to make alot of the tools i dont need badly and just to use for a few projects

    cone manderal

well i was thinking that i could use a cone and turn the end into a point with a piece of sheet and then fill it with concrete. but have a smaller cone sitting inside the biggerone to make the cone a little hollow in th middle... does this make sense to anyone?
  10. well when i went to get fittings for my forge i had to buy 1 inch because the rest were glav..... yes i am pretty shure it will burn off of a good hot heat but i would have good ventalation in your shop when your using it just in case that is dosent all burn off...

  12. OLC industerial material canada B.C surrey they sell good quality coal and it sells currently at $40.00 per 50 pound bag..... however there is a 100 dollar limit so you would need to buy 3 bags witch costs $120.00 and with tax arround $129.00
  13. hey what is your firepot made of? is it a real one?
  14. interesting... thanks for sharing
  15. hey son of bluegrass dont you mean you use charcoal not coal? and i think that i will try coal as soon as i get back from calafornia on the 19th of july... thats where i am now. thanks and i will keep in touch! sabre.:p
  16. well latley i have wonderd...... whatrs better? i mean everyone has there own oppinion but what i really want to know it whitch burns hotter? Does coal burn slower and last longer than charcoal? because i will have to sped $129 for 3 50 pound bags of coal because they have a limit of $100 at the place... the cost per bag is $41.99.... as for charcoal i buy it in 18 pound bags for $14.... so i can get 198 pounds of charcoal for the same price as 150 pounds of coal! this ones all up to you folks so you decide....:o
