Glen, If it has a nut it usually won't have threads. You might try heating the corner of the manifold to red and try to turn the nut. If it's rusted in this will usually free them up Hope this helps

Tidewater Blacksmith's Guild , Central Virginia Blacksmith Guild & Others will host a Gathering Of The Blacksmiths, May 6, 7 & 8, 2011 At Southampton County Fairgrounds, Courtland, VA . Brian Brazeal will be one of our demonstraitors. There will be a learning center headed up by Gerald Boggs. We will have Viking demonstrations also we will offer a gallery to anyone that wants to show their work. There are motels close by and plenty of tent space on site. We will be making more announcements as we finalize things.

Thanks for the replys. The plasticine sounds like a good way to go. This fellow is not only a former marine but retired law enforement. He also is also a tax expert and volunteers his time for nonprofits including offering to do our guilds 501 for free. I really want to help him out. Travis

Lowes carries the Milwaukee Portaband with the deep throat last I looked they were around $300.00. They are the same as we use everyday at the plant. I use one at home with a homemade table as an upright. Travis

It might cost a few bucks more but why not get new. McMaster Carr sells fairly inexpensive if you buy the over sized stock instead of the exact size. We went from $45.00 for 3' of 3/4 S7 to $17.00 for the same just a little off size. Hope this helps Travis

We have a young man that was just laid off from the Williamsburg Blacksmith Shop that is going to help us but we would still like to find some plans to see how others do it. We are talking about at least 4 sets of bellows so any help will be apreciated. Travis
