    Wall Sconch

This is one of a pair I made to go above each side of my fireplace. They match a three candle table version already made.

    Hook Racks

I make these small hooks out of cut concrete nails. Good size for making these racks.
  3. Wonderful design! Really nice. Yes, please post pics!
  4. Thanks keykeeper. Always interested in new information. And you are right. This will take a while! :)
  5. Thank you GNJC for the information. I have saved the link & will read as time permits. Information is the first & most important tool we have. Thanks again!

  8. Congrats!! And great job! Everything looks great.
  9. You did a fine job. Like Frosty said, nothing wrong with it. I sometimes use Johnson's paste wax. Wire brush it good & heat it up a bit to melt the paste wax. After it cools, buff it out. The hotter the metal, the darker the finish.

  13. Goatman, thanks for the link. I've saved it for future reference. I'm still too new at this stuff to make anything that would sell. But thanks for the post. I'm interested in what others sell their wares for. For future reference.
  14. No links came up. Try again. I'd love to see them.
  15. A quick search in the gallery showed that rthibeau did a couple. I'm sure, with the talent that is on this site, more will share. Good luck! And remember to post your pics. There are others of us out here who want to try this also. Mitch
  16. You are truly a talented artist & blacksmith. Thanks for sharing your work. Mitch
  17. Ok. We all know that power tools are inherently dangerous, especially if you don't give it your full & undivided attention. But we all have them, use them & love them. My question is this. For those of us who have yet to aquire, but are looking into, a powered polishing tool/system. What would the best choice be? I know there are many variables to consider. But for, say, tools & knife blades as one example. For the hobbyist. What would a good choice be? Weighing safety, function, safety, final outcome, safety, etc.... ????????????
  18. LDW, thanks for the great article. What a great resource! I printed it out & will read it tonight. Thanks again.
  19. I couldn't say it any better than Dodge or Mike. Absolutely outstanding!
