Looks great, I like the texturing. What size stock did you use?

Tree project? Please refresh my memory on that one.

1/4 inch stock. Textured by running central vein with chisel then hammering in side veins with small cross pein hammer. I created some depth and dimension by hammering in depression in block of wood with old hammer handle.

I think I will try a leaf next week. That is beautifully done.

thats a sweet leaf - i love how every hand made leaf is so different, lets keep making them!

Leaves are very distinctive to the smith who forged them. I think that just about everybody makes theirs a little different.
