Rojo Pedro
Copper and steel. I am real happy with it. He appears to have disdain for the rising sun.. Here is the back side if anyone is interested. Lots of fun and thanks for looking.
LarryFahnoe
His disdain is just delightful, as is the whole piece! Well done Rojo! --Larry

Frosty
Delightful is as good a term for that as I can think of Pedro. What's next in the series, Jupiter, Saturn, or? Frosty The Lucky.

Rojo Pedro
Thanks all. It sure was fun to make. I think I have found my favorite medium in copper.
Frosty
Deep draw steel is fun to chase / repousse. Altoid tins are great for learning but Christmas popcorn and cookie tins are nice for large pieces. You have to keep up on annealing though, deep draw is so soft it can be hard to tell when it's work hardening so you crack a lot of pieces learning. I like medium stiffness modeling clay chilled in the fridge for backing. Freezing it is too stiff for any but the finest detail. Frosty The Lucky.
