TWISTEDWILLOW
Awesome! How did the new seal hold up in the mail?
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
It was a little chipped up around the border but still looked cool.
TWISTEDWILLOW
I don’t know why they want me to pay extra postage for non machinable letters but then run them through the machines
gewoon ik
Arrived unharmed. Thanks. Send one out soon
Scott NC
I got your card this morning, thanks Billy. They deliver twice a day here in a residential neighborhood, it's no wonder the Post Office is always going broke. Probably why they have to rip you off on the postage on non-machinable letters too. I'll ask them about it when I post yours. I fired up my ink pen so look out...

TWISTEDWILLOW
Howdy everyone! things are settling in at the new place so i thought I’d pick back up with the snail mail! this year instead of buying cards i decided to use the mountain of free ones I love received in the mail from various charities sending the stationary as “free gifts” AKA soliciting donations lol pre warning to everyone these letters came with quite the assortment of tacky Christmas stickers so they are decorated accordingly! I hated to throw all this stationery away so I thought it’d be fun this year to use it, hope y’all don’t mind i didn’t pick up the funky funny cards this year
Shainarue
I love it, lol! Looking forward to getting mine. I was thinking I might diy cards this year...
Scott NC
I just dropped one in the mail box to you. Plus a few other scoundrels on here. Freinds, not scoundrels. I can't edit. It merges everything!

PHDforge
Got my card today! I did notice the abundance of stickers decorating the envelope. Thanks for thinking of me!
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
Hey Billy, Debi and I got our card last week and it came through the PO without any damage to the seal. Thanks We haven't sent card out in a long time, just never seem to get around to it so here is what I send. Shainarue
The wax seal is my favorite part. Makes the mail seem fancy!
Frosty
Deb picked up our card with the mail yesterday. It's typical Billy, the envelope is covered in stickers and more enthusiastically decorated than the card. Love your Christmas seal. Now that I've been spurred into action I have a couple cards ready to go in the mail. Frosty The Lucky.

I wanted to order some really cool ones I found online and some others that Shaina found but I had all these regular Christmas cards and stickers to get rid of first I sent out a truck load of cards this year and thinned all that out, so next year I’ll order the weird cheesy ones I found! Frosty
Filling the envelope with stickers was really amusing, the PO cancelled a sticker and left the stamp unmarked. Mine'll probably get there a little late I was out of town and didn't remember to send one from Tombstone. <sigh> Wish I had, I would've had to get a tombstone seal and some wax. It'd be a cool souvenir, might start a collection. Frosty The Lucky.

BillyBones
Got mine the other day. TW, yours will be there soon. I put it in the mail last Thursday, after pick up. The mailman did not see it behind the bushes, i should provably trim them, till Tuesday. So it is a bit late.
Frosty
I just sent a message to a Tombstone online gift shop about wax seals. Who knows I might get a freebie for the idea. Frosty The Lucky.
gewoon ik
It arrived! No wax this time. And my wife threw away the envelop, so I don't have your new adress billy. And also I'm late with my cards this year. My child slave labour felt rebelious this year, so they made the cards wrong, it took some attemts to get it right. Frosty
The PO discourages wax seals because they CAN cause problems in the automatic sorters. Newer machines handle lumps and odd envelopes much more better so wax seals go through better. More modern sealing waxes are thinner and more flexible so PO sorters handle them better too. The PO is a typical bureaucracy and the easiest safest answer to questions they might need to look into or ask higher is, no. The less your boss or higher notices you the better. I discovered Michaels craft (or whatever) stores carry a decent selection of sealing waxes and seals / stamps. Just don't expect the employees to know it, look in the same area as card and envelope decorations like stickers and such. Do NOT contact cement glitter on your mail! Frosty The Lucky.
