HojPoj
Love it, thanks for sharing more of your work, Joe!
Daswulf
Great video as always. Interesting style of making a leaf, let alone making the stock from old nails. I saw in another of your videos about consolidating the weld in the V block. Great info. Thank you!
arkie
I thought it was interesting, his comparison between flat, the 90* and the 60* V-blocks as to keeping the weld consolidated.
wirerabbit
Now I have to make myself a 60 deg v-swage. Great.
peasant
David Melbourne Australia Hi, I've been collecting nails from my ashes for some time but have been concerned about forging them with all the crud, seems like I've been wasting time. I like the V blocks, really beats working on a flat surface. I started out getting into metal casting and have done a few small melts with aluminium and copper, most of them have gone back to the re-melt bin. I have a house name plaque I'm planning to pour in aluminium before Christmas then maybe brass later on. But now I'm itching to get my bucket of nails out and give that keyring a go. Great video
