Scott NC
A good sword would slow you down a might, I expect. Depending on your armour. I hear you can find that in the bottom of a stein.... Once again, depending on what's in it!

ThomasPowers
Wikipedia covers it, probably under the king's shilling. Deals with signing up with the British Military in past times (and a persistent urban legend that glass bottom beer mugs came about to keep you from "accidentally joining up" by the recruiters slipping a shilling in your beer mug.) Now I'm in the market for a worn early 19th century schilling; I read a letter from an early steam engine guy who was complaining that the blacksmiths of the time could only work to a tolerance of "the thickness of a worn shilling" when making cylinders and pistons for steam engines so I figure I should get one to have as an example... Scott NC
I didn't realize it but Led Zeppelin did a version. Heard it many times and never even knew the title to it. Took some liberty with it.... On 1/18/2022 at 9:56 AM, JHCC said: yup
