Fellow Smiths,  The a Scotish Lion, Bristol Maine, was destroyed by fire. Proprietor,  Mr. Andrew Leck, was unharmed. However,  the shop and its contents were reported to have been lost in the fire. If you know Andrew please send him your best.

That is tragic. My heart goes out to him. Just looked up the news about it.  Lots of firefighters involved. The article said possible electric malfunction. Im going to go check all my electrical now. 

That is a tragic loss. At least no lives were lost. Thoughts and prayers his way for the rebuild.

Sobering news...especially for those of us who work "close to home" if you know what I mean.  Sad to see a smithy go up in smoke like that.  All those years of work gone in a few hours...

I hate to see somebody burned out. On the up side nobody was hurt they didn't lose the house and a lot of blacksmith's tools aren't hurt by fire. 

How many blacksmith's have been burned out this year?
