July 30, 20178 yr My first organic functional art piece. Its about half scrap i picked out of the woodstove at work. What do you guys think?? Only have one bottle of wine at the moment and for some reason its covered in welding pocks, some minor 2nd degree burns and slag. Hahaa Hope you all like it, my wife loves it and this project has won me some serious points
July 30, 20178 yr Author There all the pictures are up i hope! I couldn't have picked a much harder place to fit that too. Took a lot of walking back and forth to the house.
July 30, 20178 yr It looks great. Nice organic flow and I really like the leaves. I wonder if it could have saved you time and walking to have mocked up some wood to match the wall. Just some boards and screws. Just thinking.
July 30, 20178 yr Author Thanks!! I built a template, and it worked for the most part but i still made the walk more often than not. Had i included the window trim in my mock up it would have helped alot. Im a crappie carpenter lol
July 30, 20178 yr There's your problem---nailing panfish to the walls will always make things more difficult!
July 30, 20178 yr Author Hahaaa! Buggers wont hold still! Was going to edit that but now ill leave it to bother the grammar police hehe
July 30, 20178 yr Never had any issues with that when I'm cooking them. Of course we clean them first.... Now I'm hungry---got the cast iron skillet on the propane range but no fish to fry---grrrrr
July 30, 20178 yr It's not the grammar police you need to worry about, it's those moderators who speak the Queen's English after you for cussing
July 31, 20178 yr I like the leaves too. Wouldn't like to give us a few guidelines on the process, would you?
