BillyBones
Kind of cool to read some of these old threads and who is still active here.
George N. M.
Welcome aboard from 7500' in SE Wyoming. Glad to have you. I second what Frosty said about putting your general location in your profile so that it will show up in your header. Also, read "Read This First" first. The first illustration looks familiar. I'll check my library when I'm next out in the shop but it might not be today or tomorrow. It is pretty polar in WY right now and we are staying hunkered down in the house. Frosty
What, you aren't going to tell him the sub zero rivet setting method, George? It isn't a secret anymore you know. Hold the rivet header on the rivet firmly and shiver. Frosty The Lucky.
Nobody Special
Jeez, next you'll be telling him about the flames freezing and putting them in the deep freeze for later. Beats heck out of matches but gets a bit messy when the power goes out...
swedefiddle
Happy New Year, Alan Evans lives in the UK. Check with UK Rivet sources. Neil
JHCC
This is aircraft riveting rather than blacksmithing, but it's interesting and I know how people here love old-school industrial videos. (NB: for some reason (probably to avoid copyright issues), the film starts about a minute in, and the opening titles and voiceover have been inserted just before "The End". I've cued the video up to the actual starting point; just hit "Replay" once it reaches the end.)
