Charles R. Stevens
The edges should be round, the anvil looks very good for the $
TwistedCustoms
I would drop $200.00 on that in a heartbeat! Drop a one inch ball bearing on the top and check for rebound but it looks to be in great shape.
Ridgewayforge
Yes. That is a steal, at least where I am.

ausfire
Grab it before someone else does, then go home and admire it and congratulate yourself on a fine acquisition.

WL smith
If you don't like the rounded side step around it and use the other side! Good looking anvil give it a work out!
BIGGUNDOCTOR
It appears to be in good usable condition. You do not want sharp edges, as they can create cold shuts in the workpiece. As to price. You won't lose any value considering the average today is around $3 a pound here in the US. It is more than I pay, and less than others are paying, you're right in the middle. It is a well known maker, with a good reputation. As long as the top plate checks out , IE; not delaminating, not softened from a fire, etc..it will serve you well.
