Ten Hammers Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 GOOD STUFF VERN ! that work is outstanding in my humble opinion. Hope you are paid well and have repeat business. Quote
Frank Turley Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Pretty good-all right. Is there a tensioning spring between the bolt and escutcheon on the head and foot bolts? One old bent pintle that I saw, had the ouside bend set down with the corner of a set hammer which pulled out a sharp 90 degrees. This made the spike portion easier to drive with the hammer. Quote
dablacksmith Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 good lookin stuff ! are you going to drill the holes ? Quote
HWHII Posted October 24, 2012 Author Posted October 24, 2012 Thanks all for the nice comments. This is my first attempt at hardware and I hope I land the job. Frank there is no spring. I did think about it but was unsure on how to go do it. Your advise would be greatly appreciated. The pulled down corner I have read about but have not seen a image of one. I would like to do it on these. Eric there will be holes but the client has not given me the specs for how they will be fasten. Quote
MagGeorge Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Win-win situation. You get to score big bucks, the client gets to be happy and satisfied. Quote
