GOOD STUFF VERN ! that work is outstanding in my humble opinion. Hope you are paid well and have repeat business.

very nice work.

Pretty good-all right.

Is there a tensioning spring between the bolt and escutcheon on the head and foot bolts?

One old bent pintle that I saw, had the ouside bend set down with the corner of a set hammer which pulled out a sharp 90 degrees. This made the spike portion easier to drive with the hammer.

Thanks all for the nice comments. This is my first attempt at hardware and I hope I land the job.

Frank there is no spring. I did think about it but was unsure on how to go do it. Your advise would be greatly appreciated. The pulled down corner I have read about but have not seen a image of one. I would like to do it on these.

Eric there will be holes but the client has not given me the specs for how they will be fasten.

Win-win situation. You get to score big bucks, the client gets to be happy and satisfied.
