HWHII
I have my pressure gages mounted on my hammer just like yours. Grant is right I have had to rubber mount mine and I still have to mess with it from time to time. At some point I will have to firgure out a better way. hh1341
How about you bolt an adjustable bracket on and when you get it right, weld on a new one, built to your liking. Carl

gearhartironwerks
I'm amazed that's it's gone on so long. Just build the hammer and get to work. What's the end game...build the ultimate hammer via consensus over the net, or get to work forging iron? The ultimate hammer is neither. Working iron comes from the heart, not tooling. The next hammer/tool you build will always be better. That's the natural progression of the craft...as it should be. The hammer is simply an extension of the mind. Make it work for what you want...not what others think it should be. John

Armand Tatro
A. J.: It has been almost 2 years (according to my math) since your last update! Have you made any progress since then? Looking forward to some more information (updates) on this project! Armand
