October 31, 200916 yr For my $.02, I think that if you are looking for books on how to become a skilled smith, Mark Aspery's books are the best teaching books out there. I own a lot of "how to" books as I am primarily self taught and his are about the most thorough at building a set of skills to become proficient at forging. Mark Emig
