  6. G'day All I worked with a company that made induction heating and hardening machines,we used to weld , cut 2"plate fusion weld all with Oxy / Lpg (propane ) the cleanest heat i have ever used. We didn' have oxy/accet in the factory , the only sorce was oxy / Lpg Onya All John

  9. You could try Carlton chainsaw chain and bars in the US or griffin and berends GB products in OZ. They bars for world wide manufactures Hope this helps:)

  14. HI You can weld cast to mild steel With Stainless Steel welding rods, put a bit of heat to cast first Onya :rolleyes:

When i did my apprenticeship as a Toolmaker here in OZ draw fileing was done with left or right hand on handle and left or right hand on file itself, Backwards and Forward lengthwise not across. The only way i would use a file pulling towards me is sharpening Axes/Knives, drawfileing was to get rid of high spots pointing fingers resting on each side of the steel.Not trying to be smart ,but that was my training??   18. I would use OIL on every spot you can see a lube orifice use Oil, grease will clog up and pick up swarf which will damag beds cross slides tailstock. I say OIL Hope this helps Tool Maker from OZ ;)

  20. Sheet alloy for cans is .034" when punched out top and bottom are .012" , middle of can is .006" spec size. Don't know ring pull size? ONYA Mate
