  1. Thanks for the pictures and the brain power. She looks like a battleship from above :-)
  2. I like the way the horn is on the same plain as the face, almost an extension of the face I am curious in the construction differences between your cast Reff and your forged Pedd. please share your thoughts and some pictures of the bottom of the holes. Thanks :-)
  3. Not blacksmith related but...BEES! my 12 year old son and I decided to explore this old dilapidated ranch house. As i was walking thru the door, I turned to remind him to keep an eye out for snake, nails and bees. No sooner than I said that it started raining bees and it became a full on cloud of bees in a second. I yelled “bees! Run!” and we took off running. We had to park about 1000 feet from the old house and they chased and attacked us the whole way. Only when we got close to the truck that they seemed to back off. After getting in the truck and calming down. I had 16 stings and he had 4. There were dozens of stingers stuck in my shirt. Bottom line. I am a US Marine and like to think a mans man but I have never been more scared in my life! They were no joke. If I was older or couldn't run, I might have been in serious trouble. Glad to see my boy ditch me haha told my boss this story and he told how his wife's 74 yo grandpa was killed by bees a few years ago in kingman. Assume all wild bees are killers !! thanks for listening

  11. Thanks gents Charles, I hear what you're saying about the recasso and now that I look at it is is kind of goofy Billy, unfortunately its time. Its a gift for a friend and ran out. I drilled a couple bigger holes in the tang to reduce some weight and brother filled them with plugs and yes he did a good job fitting them. I think it look cool and is a very comfortable fit to my hand at least thanks for looking ! Cant wait to try another but no time to forge lately :-(
